| Two-man RAL Avengers held on for a win despite a determined Drayton Artisans team. Matt Davies got a fine win against Neil Hurford in a match that had three deuce games 14-12 10-12 7-11 18-16 11-7. John Talbot was mighty close to inflicting a defeat on maximum man Greg Boone but faded in the 5th and Greg won 7-11 11-9 11-8 9-11 11-5. | ||

| Very enjoyable evening o wiff waff. Kevin best both David & Pete in 5 but eased past John 13-11 in the 3rd to complete his trio of wins. Brian was I fire until David ruined his evening. The Crusaders secured the extra points with a 3 set win against the Drayton pairing. | ||

| Some fine play saw Dan and Jack take maximums after working out Mike's serves (well sort of!)but both were pushed all the way to 5 by Mike who did his usual demolition job on Ian to take the solitary win for Abingdon. The early start looked like getting us out well before 10 but with Ian and Birgit going to 5 (11-9 and 4 11-8s) and 3 deuce games in the doubles we just made it in the end | ||
